She was a little morsel of a boat, a floating peapod only 20-feet 6-inches long, but she demonstrated conclusively that a tiny, fin-keeled, light-displacement hull could conquer oceans with the best of them. Trekka was the smallest boat to circumnavigate the earth at that time.
